On 24th February at 9pm, Udaya TV is all set to launch a new show Manasare, a show that reflects the beautiful nuances of family and relationships. It’s the story of a father who hates his elder daughter but loves his younger daughter more than his own life. The elder one is totally deprived of his care and affection. All that she wishes for and wants in life is his love but what she only gets is unconditional love from her step mother who treats her like her own flesh and blood. The special bond that both the step-sisters share is a unique concept in this age of revenge dramas prevalent across Kannada television.

The innocent elder daughter Prarthana, the protagonist of the show, has been waiting for years to get the love of her father and is willing to do anything for it. The specialty of the show is that it has strong female characters who love each other and stand by each other for the sake of the family’s happiness. Unconditional love, the struggle to keep the family together irrespective of the adversities are some of the high points of the show. Amidst all this, the heroin’s quest to get her father’s love is Manasare.
Cast and Crew
A well-established production house, Dhruv Media Crafts, which has produced more than 1000 episodes of compelling daily soaps including the hit series on Udaya TV called, “Avalu”, under the able leadership of Gururaj Kulkarni, is producing this story filled with sensitivity & newness.
The show is directed by Ravikishore, a prominent cinematographer in the Kannada entertainment industry and the music is by the extremely talented Giridhar Diwan. Sunil Puranik, chairman of the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy’s, an accomplished actor, director, producer plays the role of father. Priyanka Chincholi of Jai hanuman fame plays the protagonist. The show has an experienced ensemble of very talented serial artists like Yamuna Srinidhi, Swathi, Rajalakshmi, real life couple Sunethra and Ramesh Pandit, Vijay Koundinya, Prakruthi, Sagar have acted in various pivotal characters in this emotional saga, Manasare.
